Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff

The easing of anti-Russian sanctions will take place after a ceasefire agreement in Ukraine.

This was stated by Trump's special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, Censor.NET reports.

"Easing of anti-Russian sanctions will follow agreement on ceasefire in Ukraine," Trump's envoy said.

He added that Russia is a "critical relationship" for the United States.

Witkoff also noted that he believes that Russian dictator Putin is "operating in good faith" in the issue of peace in Ukraine.

Earlier, Witkoff said that in his opinion, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin had made it clear that he accepted US President Donald Trump's philosophy on ending the war in Ukraine.
