Sweden asks European Commission to provide concrete proposals to promote Ukraine’s accession to EU

Sweden and the Nordic-Baltic countries have asked the European Commission to provide concrete proposals to advance Ukraine's accession to the European Union.
This was reported by the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine on the social network X, Censor.NET reports.
"Hungary should not slow down negotiations on Ukraine's EU membership. Our Minister for EU Affairs and her colleagues from the North Baltic countries have asked the European Commission to provide concrete proposals to advance Ukraine's accession process," the statement reads.
To recap, the day before, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that despite constant promises, Ukraine has not returned the minority rights in Zakarpattia region that were taken away from the Hungarian community in 2015, and as long as this situation persists, there can be no progress in negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU.
