Law enforcers are investigating the explosion of a deputy's car in Dnipro as a terrorist attack.
This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, Censor.NET informs.
"On 4 April 2025, at 7:40 a.m., the car of a Dnipro official exploded in one of the districts of Dnipro. The man and his wife were in the car at the time of the explosion," the statement said.
The official was killed in the attack. His wife was injured and is currently in hospital.
Law enforcement officers are working at the scene. All the circumstances are being investigated and measures are being taken to identify the persons involved.
A pre-trial investigation was initiated into the commission of a terrorist act that resulted in the death of a person (Part 3 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Explosion of Yurii Fedko's car in Dnipro
Earlier, it was reported that an official's car exploded in the Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring him and his wife.
Later, it became known that a deputy of the Dnipro City Council from the "Proposition" party, Yurii Fedko, was killed in the explosion.
