Sybiha holds talks with Braže and Sikorski on increasing pressure on Russia and strengthening Ukraine’s security

On Friday, April 18, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held phone conversations with his Latvian and Polish counterparts, Baiba Braže and Radosław Sikorski.

According to the ministry, Sybiha discussed with his Polish counterpart the "coordination of further efforts following yesterday’s diplomatic talks in Paris, aimed at bringing about a just and lasting peace."
We also focused on strengthening Ukraine’s security as an integral part of European and transatlantic security. I am grateful to Poland for its unwavering support for Ukraine and our people," Sybiha said.
During the conversation with his Latvian counterpart Baiba Braže, the Ukrainian minister discussed recent diplomatic efforts. The two diplomats also exchanged views on the next steps toward ending Russia’s war and achieving a just peace.
"We also agreed to continue working together to increase pressure on Russia and bring it to justice for all its crimes. I am grateful to Latvia for its strong support and commitment to continuing cooperation to strengthen our common security," the Foreign Minister said.
