Meeting of Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Technology Staff to be held next week to review missile programs and scale interceptor-drone production – Umerov

Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Rustem Umerov announced a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Technology Staff.
He reported this on Facebook, Censor.NET writes.
"Today (7 September - ed.) at the President’s meeting, I presented a report on the status of tasks in the security and defense sector. One of the key decisions — this week we will hold a Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Technology Staff meeting," Umerov said.
According to him, the agenda will include issues defining Ukraine’s ability to strike the enemy at range and strengthen defense, namely:
- development of missile programs: ballistic, cruise, and air-defense systems;
-
scaling up production of interceptor drones and long-range UAVs;
-
the state of mobile communications in Ukraine — coverage, quality, and challenges.
"The priority remains unchanged: protecting Ukrainian cities and expanding our long-range capabilities. These are issues on which people’s lives and results at the front directly depend," the NSDC Secretary added.
