Kyiv under enemy attack: 5 people hospitalised, residential infrastructure destroyed. Cars on fire in Dnipro district (updated)

On the morning of 28 September 2025, Russian troops attack the capital of Ukraine with attack UAVs. The attack is still ongoing. There is a missile threat.
This was announced by Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, a five-storey residential building in the Solomianskyi district was partially destroyed.
"Currently, there is one victim in the Solomianskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts. Medical workers are working on the spot. One victim has been hospitalised," Klitschko said at 5.27 am.
Debris also fell in the Sviatoshynskyi, Dniprovskyi, Darnytskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts.
A private house was destroyed in the Holosiivskyi district. Preliminary, there were no casualties.
In the Dniprovskyi district, according to preliminary information, debris fell on the roof of a multi-storey building.
In the Svyatoshynsyi district, debris fell in an open area. In the same area, the drone debris fell on a two-storey non-residential building.
In the Darnytskyi district, the wreckage fell on the territory of a private estate. Emergency services are working at the scene.
"There are currently three injured as a result of the enemy's attack on the capital. All of them were hospitalised. The massive attack on Kyiv continues. Stay in the shelters," Klitschko informed at 6.07 am.
"Call for medics in the Sviatoshynskyi district. The team is on the way. A kiosk is on fire in the Darnytskyi district. Emergency services are on their way. There are several UAVs over Kyiv, and missiles are still coming to the city. Stay in shelters," the mayor later added.
According to the updated data, after 6 am, according to preliminary information, the debris fell in the Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts. There is a fire in the Dniprovskyi district. Emergency services are on their way.
"Cars are on fire in the Dniprovskyi district. There are reports of debris falling in Solomenskyi. Be careful! UAVs are still being sent to Kyiv," Klitschko added.

Later, Klitschko said that two more people were injured in the Solomianskyi district. This brings the total number of injured to five. All of them were hospitalised.
As reported, the enemy is currently attacking with missiles and drones, there is a threat to Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions, and a large group of UAVs is moving towards Kyiv. It is also known that a bakery in Fastiv district was on fire, and workers were injured. There was a fire in a high-rise building in Bila Tserkva.
