On Tuesday night, the enemy launched a massive attack on Kharkiv with strike drones.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Synyehubov, according to Censor.NET.
Three districts under attack
According to preliminary information, the enemy directed 19 Geran-2-type UAVs at the Slobidskyi, Osnovianskyi and Nemishlyanskyi districts of the city.
"Thirty-two people were injured, including a 9-year-old and a 13-year-old child, as well as an 18-year-old girl," the report said.
Six of the victims were hospitalised. All are receiving qualified medical care.
Forty-eight people, including three children, were evacuated from the smoke-filled stairwell of the high-rise building.
Damage
At least 10 civilian vehicles were damaged, as well as a nearby residential building. Garages and the roof of an office building caught fire. In addition, a supermarket suffered significant damage.
All relevant services are working at the scene. The aftermath is still being dealt with.
According to the State Emergency Service, the enemy attack caused several fires and a significant number of casualties. In the Osnovyanskyi district, 10 cars caught fire near a high-rise building. State Emergency Service rescuers saved 51 people from the building, including 3 children.
In the Sloboda district, garages, cars, and the roof of a three-storey private enterprise building were on fire. A commercial facility was also damaged.
