France announces deeper cooperation with Ukraine on drones

Alice Roffo, France’s delegate minister to the Minister of the Armed Forces and for Veterans Affairs, has announced an expansion of cooperation with Ukraine in the area of UAV use.
She said this in an interview with Suspilne, Censor.NET reports.

"First of all, I came here after President Macron’s statement to move to the practical implementation of decisions on drones. Today I met with representatives of the Ministry of Defense, because it is true: in the area of drones — their use, robotization, the use of artificial intelligence — Ukraine today is a European and global example," Roffo said.
In addition, she said Europeans plan to join the development of a future platform to protect Ukraine’s skies. Its elements, in particular, could include French Rafale fighter jets and next-generation air defense systems.
It was previously reported that French carmaker Renault, together with defense company Turgis Gaillard, would manufacture drones for Ukraine.
