Due to bad weather, more than 270 settlements remain without power supply in Odesa, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
The Ministry of Energy reported this, Censor.NET says.
It is noted that restoration work at energy facilities is ongoing.
Kyiv and the region
A capacity deficit persists in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Since yesterday, the distribution system operator in the capital has been applying temporary schedules in line with the available amount of capacity.
Power outage schedules
Hourly outage schedules are in effect nationwide, as well as capacity limitation schedules for businesses. In some regions, emergency power outages are being applied due to the difficult situation in the power system. Once the situation stabilizes, customers will return to the expected hourly schedules.
Weather-related outages
It is reported that due to bad weather, more than 270 localities remain without power supply in Odesa, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions. Regional power utility crews are working around the clock to restore damaged lines, including under difficult conditions.
