Operators of 10th SMAB "Edelweiss" destroyed 23 Russian "Molniya" drones with help of anti-aircraft drones. VIDEO
Soldiers of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade "Edelweiss" are demonstrating impressive results in using the latest technologies to combat enemy air targets. According to Censor.NET, a video has been published online showing the mass destruction of Russian "Molniya" drones using Ukrainian anti-aircraft drones.
According to the video caption, the brigade's operators have already confirmed 23 "Molniya" drones shot down. This indicates the creation of an effective "dome" over the brigade's positions, leaving no chance for enemy reconnaissance and strike assets.
Details of combat operations:
-
New tactics: Instead of using scarce air defence missiles, Ukrainian defenders are using high-speed FPV drones to intercept enemy UAVs directly in the air.
-
Speed advantage: The footage shows the anti-aircraft drone approaching the "Molniya" and then exploding, instantly destroying the Russian aircraft.
-
Scale of Russian losses: The loss of more than two dozen aircraft in one section of the front line significantly "blinds" the occupiers and prevents them from adjusting their artillery fire.
The Russian "Molniya" UAV is a relatively new and inexpensive enemy aircraft used for both reconnaissance and as a kamikaze drone. However, the experience of "Edelweiss" proves that Ukrainian technologies can counter any developments by the invaders.
