Emergency power cuts cannot be cancelled yet, nuclear power generation is partially unloaded, - Ukrenergo

The aftermath of two massive missile and drone attacks on the power grid this week continues to be dealt with. The situation in the power grid remains difficult.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Ukrenergo press centre.
It is currently impossible to cancel emergency blackouts
As noted, the level of power shortage and damage caused to electricity transmission and distribution networks currently does not allow emergency blackouts to be cancelled in most regions. However, thanks to the round-the-clock work of energy workers, the restrictions applied in some regions are less severe today than yesterday.
"Energy workers are currently doing everything possible to restore equipment damaged by the enemy. Restoration is underway at both power plants and high-voltage substations that supply power to nuclear power plants. At present, nuclear power generation is still partially unloaded," the statement said.
Schedules are not in effect
Due to the forced use of emergency blackouts, the hourly power outage schedules published the day before are currently not in effect in most regions. A return to the predicted schedules for the application of restrictions will take place immediately after the situation in the power system stabilises.
"When the power comes back on, please do not turn on powerful electrical appliances immediately and use them one at a time. If possible, move energy-intensive processes to night-time hours when the load on the power system is lower,"Ukrenergo added.
