Enemy is not easing pressure on Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions, - General Staff
The defence forces are steadfastly holding back the occupiers' advance, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in various areas of the front. In total, 168 combat clashes were recorded over the past day.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Shelling of Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike, using two missiles, and 95 air strikes, dropping 249 guided bombs. In addition, it used 6,629 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,946 shellings of populated areas and positions of our troops, including 68 with multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular on the areas of the settlements of Kolomiitsi, Lisne, Novoselivka, Veselianka, Dibrova, Charivne, Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipilske, and Verkhnia Tersa.
Combat operations
In the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 73 attacks over the past day. One combat engagement was recorded during the day.
In the South Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attempted five times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Prylipka, Zelenе, and Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, three combat engagements took place yesterday in the areas of Pishchane and Dovhenke.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked five times. They attempted to break through our defences in the areas of Stavky, Drobysheve and Novoselivka.
In the Sloviansk direction, our defenders stopped 12 attempts by the occupiers to advance towards Rai-Oleksandrivka, Ozerne, Dronivka, Zakitne and Platonivka yesterday.
In the Kramatorsk direction, one offensive action was recorded in the Stupochky area.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 12 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Stepanivka, Illinivka, and Novopavlivka.
In Pokrovsk direction , our defenders stopped 38 assaults by the aggressor near the settlements of Sofiivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Ivanivka, Filiia, Dachne, and Hryshyne.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out two attacks in the Ivanivka area over the past day.
In Huliaipole direction , there were 21 attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Huliaipole and towards Pryvilne, Uspenivka, Zlahoda, Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Zelene, Zahirne, and Sviatopetrivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the area of Mali Shcherbaky and Stepnohirsk.
One combat engagement was recorded in the Prydniprovskyi direction.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
Strikes against the enemy
Our soldiers are inflicting significant losses on the occupying forces in terms of manpower and equipment and are actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck five areas of enemy personnel concentration and one transport infrastructure facility.
In total, the losses of the Russian invaders over the past day amount to 980 people. The enemy also lost two tanks, five armoured combat vehicles, 33 artillery systems, two air defence systems, 1,198 unmanned aerial vehicles, 182 vehicles and one piece of special equipment.
