Netanyahu initiated talks with Zelenskyy on countering Iranian drones – media

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has sent Ukraine a request to hold a conversation with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Israeli outlet Ynet reported this on Saturday, 14 March, Censor.NET informs.
Netanyahu is interested in cooperation on countering Iranian drones
According to the outlet, the Israeli request came "in the context of Ukraine’s extensive experience in intercepting Iranian-made drones" and with the intention of establishing Israeli-Ukrainian cooperation in this area.
Ukraine’s Ambassador to Israel, Yevhen Korniichuk, confirmed that such a request had been made, noting that the conversation has not yet taken place due to scheduling constraints.
He expressed hope that the leaders’ conversation would take place early next week.

- Earlier, Zelenskyy said that three professional Ukrainian teams had left for the Middle East. They will work in different countries in the region to combat Iranian drones. In exchange for this assistance, Kyiv expects to receive missiles for Patriot air defence systems.
