Beskrestnov (Flesh) explained how Ukrzaliznytsia is protecting trains from drone attacks: "It could turn into mass grave"

The Ukrzaliznytsia dispatch service has been granted direct access to military airspace control systems. Train movements are now adjusted in real time based on the flight paths of enemy UAVs.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Serhii (Flash) Beskrestnov, an advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense on technological issues.
Thanks to the joint efforts of railway workers and the military, experts have already managed to save several hundred passenger trains from danger. In most cases, passengers are completely unaware that their train has just narrowly avoided disaster.

According to the expert, the course of action depends on the level of threat. If the situation is not critical, dispatchers simply adjust the schedule to reroute the train away from the danger zone without inconveniencing passengers. However, in the event of an immediate danger, the protocol calls for immediate action.
"If a real threat to passengers' lives is detected, an immediate evacuation of the train is carried out. If a 'Shahed' hits a car carrying people, it will become a 'mass grave,'" emphasizes Serhii Flesh.
The expert urged passengers not to disregard safety rules when the train stops in high-risk areas. The main recommendation is to stay at least 100 meters away from the train.
This is because Russian UAV operators can change targets "on the fly."
"We have repeatedly documented instances where a manually controlled drone was flying to attack an infrastructure target but, upon seeing a train below, changed its mission and attacked the train," the expert explained.
Serhii Flesh added that the monitoring system provides a complete picture of the air situation. It is precisely thanks to this integration of the railways into the military air defense system that tragedies on the railways are prevented.
At present, rail transport remains one of the safest modes of transportation in Ukraine, despite the enemy’s constant attempts to target logistics hubs.
