Police detain killer of TCR serviceman in Lviv

The attacker who fatally wounded a TCR (Territorial Centre of Recruitment and Social Support) serviceman has been arrested. The suspect turned out to be an inspector with Lviv Customs.

As reported earlier, on 2 April at about 2:15 p.m., police received a report via the 102 emergency line that an unidentified man had stabbed a TCR serviceman in the neck on Patona Street in Lviv during notification measures. The victim died in the hospital from his injuries.
Criminal police operatives, investigators, patrol officers, and personnel from other police units in the Lviv region were involved in solving the crime. A police special operation was carried out.
- Law enforcement officers quickly established the whereabouts of the suspect, a Lviv resident born in 1991, and detained him under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The suspect turned out to be an inspector with Lviv Customs. The motive is being established.
