Murder of TCR serviceman: attacker remanded in custody for 2 months without right to bail
On April 3, the Lychakivskyi District Court of Lviv imposed a preventive measure on the suspect in the murder of 52-year-old Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support serviceman Oleh Avdieiev.

Updated at 5:50 p.m. Andrii Trush, an inspector with Lviv Customs, was remanded in custody for two months without the right to post bail, Suspilne reports.
Commenting on the prosecutor’s motion, the suspect objected to it and asked the court to impose a more lenient preventive measure.
What is known?
According to the SBI, on April 2, servicemen from a Territorial Centre of Recruitment and Social Support, together with patrol officers, were checking documents on Patona Street in Lviv and stopped a man.
At that moment, his brother, who is a customs officer, intervened. While trying to prevent his brother’s detention, he pulled out a knife and stabbed the Territorial Centre of Recruitment and Social Support serviceman several times.
According to the SBI, before the hearing, the prosecution filed a motion with the court requesting a preventive measure of detention in custody and the suspension of the suspect from his position.
The Lviv customs officer faces up to 15 years in prison or life imprisonment.
