On the night of April 24–25, Russian invaders launched a massive rocket and drone attack on Dnipro.

According to Censor.NET, this was announced by Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk RMA.

"A four-story building has been damaged as a result of the Russian attack on Dnipro," the statement reads.

The enemy also attacked an industrial facility.

"Fourteen people were injured in an enemy attack on Dnipro. Among them is a child—a 9-year-old boy. He received medical attention and will be treated on an outpatient basis."

"Nine people have been hospitalized. All are in moderate condition," added Hanzha.

The number of victims subsequently rose to 18.

"Eleven of them have been hospitalized. A 26-year-old woman is in 'critical' condition. The rest are in 'moderate' condition," Hanzha reported

Six people are unreachable

According to Mykola Lukashuk, chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, at least five high-rise buildings and businesses have been damaged. Fires have broken out.

Rescue workers and emergency services are on the scene. A search and rescue operation is underway; six residents have not been in contact—their whereabouts are currently unknown.

At around 9 a.m., Ganza reported that rescuers had recovered the bodies of two people from the rubble of the destroyed building.

"There are likely still five people trapped under the rubble. Rescue operations are ongoing," said the head of the regional administration.

As a result of the Russian strike, 21 people had been injured as of 9:00 a.m. Medical personnel are providing everyone with the necessary care.

"Three dead. Rescue workers recovered another body from the rubble of a building in Dnipro that was hit by Russian forces last night," Ganza reported at 9:53 a.m.

Emergency responders continue to clear the rubble. They are still searching for people.
