In the Donetsk region, an anti-drone police group came under attack by FPV drones

A unit of the Kramatorsk and Sloviansk Patrol Police Battalion came under attack by Russian FPV drones while conducting anti-drone operations in the Donetsk region.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Oleksii Biloshitsky, first deputy head of the Patrol Police Department. According to him, law enforcement officers were carrying out a mission to counter enemy drones when Russian troops launched an attack using FPV drones.

One police officer was injured

As a result of the attack, one of the patrol officers sustained a shrapnel wound to the leg.

The law enforcement officer is currently under medical supervision and receiving treatment.

Police officers shot down several drones

Despite the attack, the anti-drone unit managed to destroy several Russian drones.

However, one of the FPV drones did reach its target and struck a service vehicle.

"Our police officers shot down several drones, but one still hit a police vehicle. As a result, the car was destroyed," said Oleksii Biloshitsky.

The police emphasize that law enforcement officers in Donetsk Oblast continue to carry out their duties in areas that are regularly under attack by Russian forces.
