Number of people injured in Kyiv in Russian attacks rises to 17, one person killed. PHOTOS (updated)
A Russian drone struck a nine-storey residential block in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv.
This was announced by Mayor Vitalii Klitschko, according to Censor.NET.
Consequences
"In the Dniprovskyi district, a fire broke out in a nine-storey residential block after it was struck by a UAV. Preliminary reports indicate there has been damage. Emergency services are on their way to the scene," he said.

Later, the Kyiv City Military Administration clarified that a woman had been killed as a result of the enemy attack. One person was also reported injured.
As of 5:30 p.m., the number of people injured in the strike on the residential building had risen to three. Among them were two children: a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl. They are receiving medical assistance.
Police reported that a 70-year-old resident of the building was killed in the attack. Four other residents were injured: a 74-year-old woman, a 69-year-old man, a 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy.

At 8:12 p.m., Klychko reported that cars caught fire after a UAV fell in an open area near a 16-storey residential building in the Desnianskyi district.
As of 8:15 p.m., 16 people were known to have been injured in the capital, including two children.
At 8:51 p.m., the mayor reported that a UAV had fallen in a forested open area near a shopping centre in the Sviatoshynskyi district. Preliminary reports indicated no fire or casualties.
As of 9:20 p.m., 17 people were known to have been injured in the capital, including two children. Six of the injured are receiving inpatient treatment at city hospitals.
The Russian Federation’s attack on Kyiv
- It was previously reported that on 9 September, fires broke out in several districts of Kyiv following an attack by Russian drones.
- In the Dniprovskyi district, according to preliminary reports, a UAV has crashed into a high-rise building. There is a fire.
- There was also a fire in a warehouse in the Dniprovskyi district caused by a drone crash.
- There are casualties.
