Latest Russian TOS-3 "Dragon" heavy flamethrower system has been destroyed on front line for first time. VIDEO

The destruction of the latest Russian TOS-3 ‘Dragon’ heavy flamethrower system has been confirmed on the front line for the first time. The enemy equipment was destroyed by operators from the 57th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade.

According to Censor.NET, the Russian heavy flamethrower system was spotted whilst travelling along a road near the town of Shebekino in the Belgorod Oblast of the Russian Federation.

After identifying the target, Ukrainian operators struck the Russian vehicle. According to published reports, the TOS-3 "Dragon" was destroyed as a result of the attack.

The TOS-3 "Dragon" is the latest Russian heavy flamethrower system mounted on a tracked tank chassis. It was developed taking into account the operational and combat experience gained from the previous TOS-1A "Solntsepek" and TOS-2 "Tosochka" systems.

The Russians only began demonstrating the new system in 2024, and reports of its appearance directly in the combat zone emerged much later.

Thus, the destruction of the vehicle near Shebekino marked the first confirmed instance of a Russian TOS-3 "Dragon" being destroyed on the front line.
