Artem Dmytruk, a fugitive member of parliament from the "Servant of the People" party (currently an independent), congratulated Russian dictator Putin on his birthday and called for dialogue with Russia and Belarus.
He announced this on his Telegram channel, according to Censor.NET.
What is known?
He referred to the Kremlin dictator as "the leader of the country on which Ukraine’s fate depends."
"On this day, I would like to wish Vladimir Vladimirovich wisdom and responsibility in his decision-making, particularly regarding decisions concerning Ukraine," Dmytruk said.
He also mentioned the "complex shared history, cultural, and spiritual ties" between Ukraine and Russia.
In his view, Ukraine and Russia are supposedly "destined to live together" and "face challenges together."
"That is why, on this day, I would like to wish the President of the Russian Federation patience and responsibility. Because today it is especially important to make decisions that can bring peace closer and save lives. Happy birthday, Vladimir Vladimirovich," concluded the People's Deputy, who was elected to the Rada from the "Servant of the People" party.
In other posts, Dmytruk stated that "peace in Ukraine can only be achieved if Kyiv, Moscow, and Minsk are united."
"We need to stop groveling before the West. We need to stand up and go talk to our own people—Minsk and Moscow. The only right decision is open, direct dialogue," the lawmaker noted.
