International aid for Ukraine: Government has fulfilled its commitments, EU approvals now needed – Koretskyi

The Cabinet of Ministers has fulfilled its share of the commitments required to receive international financial assistance in 2026. By October 15, the government had adopted all the required resolutions, orders and procedural documents.
Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi reported this, Censor.NET reports.
Securing international financial assistance in 2026
"Today, the government fulfilled its share of the commitments on which the receipt of international financial assistance in 2026 depends," the statement reads.
"As I promised, all resolutions, orders and procedural documents were adopted by October 15. Next come the submission of the relevant requests to the European Commission and the mandatory approval procedures involving EU member states. Only then will we await the disbursement of funds," Koretskyi noted.
The prime minister noted that similar procedures also apply to other partners outside the EU. Work is being accelerated at each of these stages.
Parliament backs several crucial bills
This week, Parliament backed several crucial bills under the Ukraine Facility, agreements with the IMF and other international support mechanisms.
Koretskyi thanked the lawmakers who voted for these measures.
Cooperation with partners
At the same time, this represents only part of our joint commitments to partners. The coming parliamentary sitting weeks are therefore also crucial to securing international financial assistance in full.
The government is fully ready to cooperate.
