What is known?

"Our lyceum family is experiencing indescribable pain and an irreparable loss. Today, two of our students, Yana Pieshkova and Mariia Mozhova, were killed during the enemy attack on Chernihiv. No words can convey the pain of this loss. We bow our heads in sorrow and offer our deepest condolences to the families of those killed. In loving memory of our girls. Forever in our memories and hearts," the post reads.

The Magic sports rhythmic gymnastics studio also reported the death of 15-year-old Yana.

"She was a pupil at our studio, part of our sporting family. A girl who should have had her whole life ahead of her, so many dreams, plans and happy moments… But Russia decided otherwise. On 29 October, a missile strike on central Chernihiv brutally cut her life short.

In our hearts, she will always be the same radiant, sincere, smiling girl. It is impossible to accept that this child is gone. Our sincere condolences to her family and loved ones. No words can ease such pain," the studio’s statement reads.
