Operatives from the 73rd Naval Centre of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Special Operations Forces carried out a successful ambush behind the lines of the Russian occupiers on Russian territory, struck the enemy, destroyed a vehicle and seized important documents and communications equipment.
According to Censor.NET, the special forces personnel overcame enemy minefields and penetrated the enemy’s rear, where they carried out reconnaissance and identified targets for engagement over the course of several days.
Whilst carrying out the mission, Ukrainian soldiers spotted a vehicle carrying Russian occupiers and set up an ambush, opening fire on the enemy.
Inside the destroyed vehicle, the special forces discovered drone equipment, radio sets, weapons, mobile phones, operational orders, movement routes and lists of personnel from Russian units.
Following the successful operation, fighters from the 73rd Naval Special Operations Centre continued to carry out their combat mission behind enemy lines.
