The Pivdennyi Bridge has been partially reopened to traffic: details

Traffic across the Pivdennyi Bridge in Kyiv has been partially resumed: at present, the bridge is open only from the left bank to the right bank, with a single lane for vehicles weighing up to 10 tonnes.

This was announced by Oleksii Biloshytskyi, head of the Patrol Police Department, as reported by Censor.NET.

"Traffic has resumed across the Pivdennyi Bridge from the left bank to the right bank of Kyiv. Traffic is restricted to a single lane for vehicles weighing up to 10 tonnes, including passenger cars," he said.

However, traffic from the right bank to the left bank remains closed for the time being.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that one lane of traffic from the right bank to the left bank will open today at 5:00 p.m.

"Specialists from the relevant municipal enterprises, together with researchers, are developing technical solutions to repair the bridge structures damaged by the enemy, including those that support metro operations," the statement reads.
