Ukrainian missile and radar manufacturers can receive grants of up to UAH 100 million – Digital Transformation Ministry

The Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Brave1 cluster have launched grant competitions for manufacturers of guided air-to-air missiles and advanced Ukrainian radars.
The Digital Transformation Ministry announced this.
The initiative’s main goal is to develop technologies for effectively intercepting enemy jet-powered drones without risking pilots’ lives and to reduce interception costs.
Developers can receive funding in the following areas:
- Guided air-to-air missiles (including those launched from UAVs to shoot down targets) — grants of up to UAH 75 million;
- Radars for early detection of enemy jet-powered aerial threats — grants of up to UAH 100 million;
- Turbojet engines — the competition will launch in November, with grants of up to UAH 350 million.
For the first time, grant applications will be submitted through a dedicated Prozorro module to ensure data confidentiality.
Registration is open until November 5.
Earlier, it emerged that the government had expanded its support programme for Ukraine’s defence industry to scale up weapons production for the front.
Denmark will provide DKK 750 million in state loan guarantees for the Danish branch of Ukrainian defence company Fire Point.
