Police Captain Olha Levchenko, an inspector with the Tactical and Operational Response Company of the Sumy Regional Patrol Police Department, has died from injuries sustained in the line of duty.

"An irreparable loss for the patrol police family. Yesterday, we were shaken by tragic news: our colleague, Police Captain Olha Levchenko, an inspector with the Tactical and Operational Response Company of the Sumy Regional Patrol Police Department, died from injuries sustained in the line of duty," the statement reads.
What is known about the deceased?
Olha joined the Sumy patrol police in 2023. She served the Ukrainian people with honour and dignity, was a dependable partner and always came to the aid of those in need.
Strong, fair, kind-hearted and sincere, this is how her colleagues and everyone who knew Olha will remember her.
The patrol police family has suffered a profound loss. Olha is survived by a son, whom she loved more than anything.
