SES pyrotechnics seized and destroyed a Russian FAB-1500 one-and-a-half-tonne bomb with a UPMC control module that fell without detonating in Selydove, Donetsk region.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, the bomb fell in an open area in a private residential sector and did not detonate. It is worth noting that the explosion of this type of bomb can cause fragments to strike at a distance of up to 500 metres.
To ensure the safety of the local population during the works, the State Emergency Service together with the National Police notified people.
The dangerous munition was seized by the SES pyrotechnics and destroyed in a special place.
