In Kyiv, a man robbed a military man's car, stealing EW, tactical equipment and other items.
This was reported by the Kyiv police, Censor.NET informs.
Thus, in one of the courtyards of high-rise buildings in the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv, an unknown person broke a window in the door of a military pickup truck and stole EW, tactical equipment and other items belonging to the serviceman of AFU. The man was subsequently detained and the stolen property was returned to the soldier.
The man stole an EW, a laptop, tactical equipment, a mobile phone, documents and other items.
After interviewing witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage, law enforcement officers established that a 40-year-old Kyiv resident, who had previously been brought to criminal responsibility, was involved in the theft.
He was served a notice of suspicion under Part 4 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - theft committed under martial law. The sanction of this article provides for imprisonment for up to eight years.
For the duration of the pre-trial investigation, the court imposed a custodial measure of restraint on the suspect with the possibility of bail in the amount of UAH 300,000.
