Driver detained for bribe to smuggle passenger with false documents on mother’s disability abroad - SBGS. PHOTOS

A resident of Zakarpattia offered a bribe to a border guard of the Mukachevo Detachment for clear passage of her passenger, who was later found to have forged documents.

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service, Censor.NET reports.

"The 36-year-old driver arrived at the Vylok checkpoint in a Mercedes Sprinter minibus. She also had two passengers in the car - a 49-year-old mother and a 28-year-old son, residents of Khmelnytskyi region. During the border control, the resident of Zakarpattia tried to give the inspector an illegal monetary reward in the amount of 200 euros. It turned out that her passenger intended to leave Ukraine using forged documents about his mother's disability," the statement said.

It is noted that in the process of checking the legal grounds for travelling abroad for the period of martial law, border guards found a number of signs that pointed to the forgery of the MSEC certificate. In addition, it was established that the woman was abroad during the period of medical and social examination.
