"Shaheds" attacked Cherkasy region: houses and hangar with grain damaged. PHOTOS
The night of Monday, 6 January 2025, in the Cherkasy region was marked by prolonged anxiety. Air defence forces repelled another enemy air attack.
This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration Ihor Taburets in his telegram channel, Censor.NET informs.
According to preliminary data, 10 Russian UAVs were destroyed within the region.
Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Damage
According to the RMA, property in several settlements was damaged as a result of the falling debris from the downed drones. In particular, in Zvenyhorod district, windows in two private houses were damaged. And in Cherkasy district, the roof of a warehouse where grain was stored was damaged.
The survey of the territory is ongoing.
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that on the evening of 5 January, Russians launched attack drones in Ukraine.
