Lukoil plant catches fire in Volgograd, Russia. VIDEO&PHOTOS
A fire broke out at the Lukoil oil refinery in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd at around 4am.
According to Censor.NET, ASTRA writes about it.
Locals on social media claimed to have heard an explosion.
Local media reported that the fire was caused by internal factors, not external influences.
"Unit 18 and two heat exchangers caught fire at the plant. The fire has been extinguished, no one was killed or injured in the incident, the exact cause of the fire is being established, but it is already known that the fire was caused by an emergency situation that had nothing to do with any external influence," the journalists said, citing operational services.
There is no information about the fire on the official website of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations or in its social media.
