Russian missile strike on Poltava: 9-year-old Sofiika and her parents killed. PHOTO
Yesterday's Russian attack on Poltava claimed the lives of an entire family. Elena Yavorska, an employee of the Nova Poshta contact centre, her husband Dmitry and their daughter Sofia, who was only 9 years old, were killed.
This was reported on Facebook by the company's co-owner Volodymyr Popereshnyuk, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, Olena was a biology teacher by education, but in 2015 she got a job at Nova Poshta. The Yavorsky family lived on the second floor of the destroyed house.
As a reminder, on the morning of 1 February 2025, the Russian army hit a residential building in Poltava with a missile. The entrance from the 1st to the 5th floor was destroyed and a fire broke out. As of 2 February, it is known that 14 people died as a result of the enemy strike, including 2 children.
