The sappers neutralised the latest Russian precision air-to-ground cruise missile X-69, discovered by residents in a field in Kyiv region.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, in Kyiv region, local residents noticed a large suspicious object in a field and reported it to the Rescue Service. A pyrotechnic team of the Mobile Rescue Centre of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine arrived at the scene.
During the examination, experts identified the discovery as the latest Russian X-69 precision air-to-ground cruise missile. The sappers successfully neutralised the missile, after which it was seized and handed over to specialists for further examination.
"Be vigilant! If you find unknown or potentially dangerous objects, do not approach or touch them, and call 101 immediately. Your caution can save your life!" - the SES reminded.
