On 27 March, bomb disposal experts from Ukraine’s State Emergency Service removed and disposed of the warhead from a Geran-2 UAV in Vyshhorod district, Kyiv region.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service, Censor.NET reports.
"Today, 101 received a report that local residents had spotted an unmanned aerial vehicle in the forest in the Vyshhorod district," the statement said.
Bomb disposal experts from the Mobile Rescue Centre of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine arrived at the scene.
The specialists removed the warhead of the Geran-2 UAV and transported it to a demolition site for further disposal in accordance with established procedures.
"In addition, a pyrotechnic team examined the surrounding area for other explosive devices. Fortunately, no additional threats were detected and no one was injured," the SES added.
