SES engineers removed and defused a FAB-200 bomb in the village of Slatyno, Derhachi community, Kharkiv region.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the SES.

"Rescuers received a report of the discovery of an unexploded explosive device in the ground near the residential sector of the village of Slatyno, Derhachi community in Kharkiv region," the statement said.

It is noted that the SES experts identified the discovery as a FAB-500 aircraft bomb . It miraculously did not detonate, but remained extremely dangerous.

The sappers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine removed and transported the UXO for further disposal. The difficulty was that the bomb had a fuze, so it could detonate at any time.

What to do if you find a dangerous object

• If you find an explosive object, do not touch or attempt to move it.
• Report a dangerous find by calling 101 or 102.
