The strike on the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in the city of Orsk was carried out by operatives from the "A" Center for Special Operations of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to sources.
The target was located 1,400 kilometers from Ukraine.
The refinery operates four primary oil processing units and produces about 30 types of products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricants, aviation kerosene, bitumen, and fuel oil. It is one of Russia’s leading oil refineries.
At least four explosions rocked the refinery, followed by heavy smoke rising over the facility.
