Russian troops strike rescuers in Druzhkivka: four wounded. PHOTOS
In Druzhkivka, Donetsk region, Russian troops attacked rescuers with an FPV drone as they were responding to a fire call.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the State Emergency Service.
There are injuries
As noted, four State Emergency Service employees were injured as a result of the strike on the tanker truck. They were evacuated to the hospital. A fire truck was also damaged.
"The Russians are deliberately targeting emergency workers who save the lives of civilians every day and deal with the consequences of shelling. Such actions are further proof that the aggressor will stop at nothing and deliberately violates international humanitarian law!" the State Emergency Service emphasises.
Consequences
What preceded it?
- As reported, Russian forces attacked a fire and rescue unit in Zaporizhzhia. There is damage.
- According to the State Emergency Service, 111 rescuers and 114 volunteers have been killed since the start of the full-scale war.
