In the Pecherskyi district of the capital, a fire broke out in a beauty salon due to a generator ignition.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service, Censor.NET reports.

According to the rescuers, the fire was promptly localized and extinguished. There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the incident.

The State Emergency Service issued a reminder regarding the rules for safe generator use. Specifically, they are permitted to be installed only outdoors, at least 6 meters away from doors and windows. During operation, a generator emits carbon monoxide, which is deadly and must not enter the premises.
