Past 24 hours in Kharkiv region: strikes on Kharkiv and four districts, with one fatality and several injured. PHOTOS
Over the past 24 hours, on 18 March, Russian invaders launched attacks on Kharkiv and nine settlements in the Kupianskyi, Izium, Kharkiv and Chuhuiv districts.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
Strike on Kharkiv
In Kharkiv, a UAV strike was recorded in a residential area. A shop and houses were damaged.
A 54-year-old man was killed as a result of the shelling. A 16-year-old boy and two men aged 46 and 23 were hospitalised with blast injuries.
Casualties
"In the village of Ruski Tyshky, Tsyrkunivska disttrict, a 65-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman were injured.
In Kupiansk, a 68-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman were injured when an unknown device exploded during an evacuation," Syniehubov reported.
Shelling of districts
The enemy actively used various types of weaponry in the Kharkiv region:
- 5 "Geran-2" UAVs;
- 2 "Molniya" UAVs;
- 2 FPV drones;
- 8 UAVs (type to be confirmed).
Private homes were damaged in the village of Tsyrkuny and the settlement of Kozacha Lopan following UAV strikes.
In the Pechenizka territorial community, a warehouse and agricultural machinery on a farm, as well as a private house, were damaged. A fire broke out.
In the village of Molodova, Starosaltivska community, a cowshed was damaged as a result of enemy UAV shelling.
In addition:
- In the Kupiansk district, power lines were damaged (village of Shipuvate);
- A vehicle was damaged in the Izium district (village of Horokhovatka);
- A vehicle was damaged in the Kharkiv district (village of Ruski Tyshky);
- A private house was damaged in the Chuhuiv district (village of Staryi Saltiv).
