Lutsk is shrouded in thick smoke: residents are being asked to keep their windows tightly closed
Thick smoke has blanketed Lutsk following a Russian attack and a strike on a local enterprise.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the press office of Lutsk City Council.
Statement from the City Council to residents
"Due to the fires that broke out in the city as a result of enemy shelling, there has been significant smoke in the air. We ask residents to keep their windows tightly closed to prevent harmful substances from entering their homes," the statement reads.
There was a fire in a high-rise building
It is also noted that the fire in the high-rise building, caused by a falling fragment of a Shahed drone, has been extinguished.
Work is continuing to extinguish fires in the warehouses. No information regarding casualties has been received.
What led up to this?
- It was previously reported that the enemy attacked Lutsk with "shahed drones": an industrial facility was hit and a high-rise building was damaged.
- The Russian attack destroyed the "Nova Poshta" terminal in Lutsk.
- It was also reported that Russia attacked Ukraine with strike drones on the evening of 31 March.
- By the morning, it became known that the enemy had attacked Khmelnytskyi: a fire broke out at an enterprise.
