This week, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian territory using more than 500 guided aerial bombs, nearly 660 attack drones, and about 120 missiles of various types.
Censor.NET reports that this was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"Last night and this week, our air defense forces, mobile firing groups, and all air defense units worked to protect Ukrainians from Russian air terror. Over 30 attack drones were shot down during the night. In total, during the week, Russia used more than 500 guided aerial bombs, almost 660 attack drones, and about 120 missiles of various types against us," Zelenskyy said.
The President stressed that no other country in the world has faced such attacks on a daily basis for such a long time.
"Our state has stood firm, our Armed Forces continue to fight the aggressor, our people are working for a strong Ukraine, and our partners support us. And together we are a force that will force Russia to a just peace and restore peace and security in Europe. I thank everyone who understands this and supports us," he added.
As a reminder, on the night of 1 December 2024, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 78 Shahed-type attack UAVs and unidentified drones. According to the Air Force, as of 09:00, 32 enemy UAVs were confirmed downed, 45 Russian drones were lost locally, presumably as a result of countermeasures by the Defence Forces' electronic warfare equipment, and one more is still in the air!
