In Kharkiv, intoxicated men in military uniforms pushed civilian to ground and started beating him: TCR stated that he was "acting inappropriately" and "pretending to attack". VIDEO

A video showing part of the conflict between a citizen and members of the alert group that took place in Kharkiv on Monday, 20 January, was posted on social media.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Kharkiv RTCR and SS (Territorial Centres of Recruitment and Social Support).

Warning: The video contains profanity

The TCR notes that all the allegations are allegedly completely unsubstantiated and untrue.

Also, according to them, the allegations that the soldiers were intoxicated are false.

"During the implementation of the notification measures, the notification group consisting of servicemen of the district territorial center for recruitment and social support, as well as a National Police officer, stopped a citizen to identify him and check his military registration documents. But the man began to behave inappropriately, suddenly used pepper spray, pointing it at the serviceman's face, and then began to flee," the RTCR said in a statement.

It is noted that when they tried to check the documents again, the man used the spray again.

"He began to shout loudly, fell to the sidewalk, imitating an attack on him, and after this performance fled the scene. Thus, the conflict situation was caused by the unlawful actions of the citizen stopped by the alert group," the military commissariat said.

The information about the incident was transferred to law enforcement agencies, the Kharkiv RTCR added
