On the night of Saturday, 1 February 2025, Russia attacked our cities using various types of weapons: missiles, attack drones, and air bombs.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.
"Another terrorist crime. In Poltava, a residential building was hit, the entrance was completely destroyed - ten people were wounded, including children. Unfortunately, three people were killed. My condolences to the families. All necessary services are working at the scene, rescuing and providing necessary assistance," the Head of State noted.
According to Zelenskyy, there are damages in the Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Kyiv regions. As of now, six people have been reported injured. In Kharkiv, one person was killed in a drone attack. Two lives were lost in this Russian attack in the Sumy region. My condolences to the families and friends.
Each such terrorist attack proves that we need more support in defending ourselves against Russian terror. Every air defense system, every anti-missile is a lifesaver. It is very important that our partners act, fulfill our agreements and increase pressure on Russia," he concluded.
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that on the morning of 1 February 2025, Russian troops attacked Poltava. A residential building was hit. It was also noted that the Russian Federation had struck Kharkiv, landing within a residential area, killing a woman and injuring 5 people.
