New York police officer surprises Ukrainian woman: recites "Cherry Orchard Near House" on horseback. VIDEO

A Ukrainian photographer was taking pictures in one of Brooklyn's parks when two police officers on horseback rode past her. One of them suggested adding the animals to the shot.

"I know Ukrainian!"

According to Censor.NET, upon hearing Ukrainian, the law enforcement officer surprised the girl even more by responding in Ukrainian. As it turned out, the man named Stefan had studied Ukrainian in college.

During a brief conversation, the policeman even recited lines from Taras Shevchenko's poem "The Cherry Orchard Near the House."
The moment was so sincere and unexpected that the video of the conversation quickly went viral.
