War in Ukraine will end when Russia achieves all its goals, - Peskov. AUDIO

The Kremlin has stated that Russia wants the war in Ukraine to end as soon as possible. To this end, the Russian Federation must achieve all its objectives.

This was stated by the dictator's spokesman Dmitry Peskov in a comment to Russian propagandists, according to Censor.NET.

"Of course, we would like this conflict to end as soon as possible. It can end when Russia achieves all the goals it set at the outset.

It would be better for us to resolve this conflict through political and diplomatic means. We have said this many times, and the Russian side remains open to this path," he said.

According to Peskov, there is currently a "pause" and the situation is "stuck" through no fault of Russia.

What preceded this?

The Kremlin has stated that there is currently no need for a meeting between Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump. They believe that instead of a summit, "painstaking work on the details of the settlement" is needed.

Peskov accused Ukraine and the EU of "pausing" the peaceful settlement of the war.
