Biletskyi: If we survive cold weather and stop Russians in spring, they will sit down at negotiating table. VIDEO

The Russians are currently experiencing their worst advance rates of 2023 on most sections of the front.

According to Censor.NET, this was stated by the commander of the Third Corps, Andriy Biletsky, in an interview with ICTV.

Russians have intensified their energy terror

In his opinion, it is precisely because of the slowdown in their offensive that the Russians have intensified their energy terror against the civilian population - this is how they are trying to break the rear. In addition, the enemy is pinning its hopes on spring, when the greenery will return and its infiltration tactics will become effective again.

"I think that this will not happen, or will not happen to the full extent, but they are counting on it," Biletsky added.

He called the Russians' latest postponement of the deadline for capturing the Donetsk region to 1 April "ridiculous". In his opinion, the Defence Forces are capable of putting the Russians in a hopeless situation where it will be impossible to advance and losses will increase to unacceptable levels. Then the enemy will be interested in negotiations and peace.

"If we get through the cold weather and if we can completely stop the Russians in the spring, their advance on the front, if they realise that even 2026 [for the capture of Donbas] is absurd, I am sure that they will have really serious incentives to sit down at the negotiating table," he added.
