Pilots of SIGNUM battalion shot down 12 reconnaissance UAVs of occupiers in Lyman direction. VIDEO

While Russian invaders try to conduct aerial reconnaissance under the cover of darkness, Ukrainian masters of the night sky are carrying out a large-scale demilitarisation operation against them. According to Censor.NET, pilots from the SIGNUM battalion have demonstrated impressive results in hunting down enemy "birds".

The destruction of such a large number of reconnaissance aircraft effectively "blinds" the enemy's artillery and ensures relative safety for Ukrainian infantry in this section of the front.

Results of the night hunt (Lymansk direction):

  • Orlan: 3 units - the main enemy fire correctors;

  • Zala: 5 units - electronic warfare-resistant drones, which have now been turned into scrap metal;

  • Supercam: 3 units - expensive reconnaissance systems with high-quality optics;

  • KVO (Prince Veshchy Oleg): 1 unit - a rare example of the latest Russian aviation industry.

Why is this important? Each reconnaissance drone shot down means a foiled attack, inaccurate shelling of our stronghold, and the lives of Ukrainian defenders saved. The Lyman direction remains extremely tense, so control of the sky here is critical.

"Destroying an enemy drone is not just about shooting down a drone, it's about blinding the enemy's artillery and saving the lives of our infantrymen. We work around the clock to ensure that the enemy has no chance of seeing our positions," the SIGNUM unit notes.
