Da Vinci Wolves battalion fighters shoot down six Shahed UAVs with interceptor drones. VIDEO
Ukrainian defenders continue to roll out new methods of countering Russian air terror. As reported by Censor.NET, fighters from the Separate 108th Da Vinci Wolves Battalion have published unique footage showing Iranian kamikaze drones being destroyed in mid-air.
Instead of traditional air defence systems, the soldiers used agile interceptor drones that chased down and took out the targets.
Details of the aerial success:
-
Operational results: During a combat shift, the unit’s operators managed to "bring down" as many as six Shahed-type drones that were trying to attack Ukrainian cities.
- Technological edge: Using high-speed FPV interceptors makes it possible to save expensive surface-to-air missiles and destroy enemy targets before they reach infrastructure facilities.
- The Wolves’ skill: The video captures the interceptor closing in with precision on a Shahed and the moment of detonation, after which the enemy drone breaks into fragments.
