Interceptor drones of 55th Artillery Brigade "landed" 17 enemy UAVs in week. VIDEO
Air defence and electronic warfare units continue to demonstrate phenomenal results in combating Russian unmanned aerial vehicles. According to Censor.NET, soldiers of the 55th Separate Artillery Brigade "Zaporizhzhia Sich" reported the mass destruction of the occupiers' reconnaissance and strike drones.
In the first week of February alone, thanks to the skilful use of interceptor drones over the Dnipropetrovsk region and Pokrovsk, a significant group of enemy "birds" was eliminated.
Results of the "hunt" for the week:
-
Rare targets: Two new Knyaz Veshchy Oleg UAVs, which the enemy is trying to use for specific tasks, were shot down.
-
Reconnaissance and correction: One "Orlan-30"— a modernised version of the enemy's main artillery spotter — was "grounded".
-
Mass destruction of Molnias: The biggest catch was the Molnia strike drones - 14 units were destroyed, which saved many lives of our defenders and civilians.
In parallel with clearing the sky, artillerymen of the 55th Brigade are systematically burning enemy firepower in the Pokrovsk direction, leaving the occupiers no chance of staying safely on Ukrainian soil.
"The sky over the Dnipropetrovsk region is under reliable protection! The occupiers cannot hide either in the sky or on the ground. We will continue to work until complete victory," the military said.
